Research experience

  Ying-Qian Liu is a Professor, and doctoral supervisor in theSchool of Pharmacy of Lanzhou University. He isappointed as the "Flying Scholar" of Gansu Province, “Long Yuan Young Innovative Talent” of Gansu Province, responsible for the Industry Technology Center in Gansu Province of the development and utilization of effective substances in Chinese and Tibetan Medicine, and the director of natural medicine Chemical Biology Institute. Currently, he is appointed as the vice chairman of the Ethnic Medicine Education Committee of China Ethnic Medicine Association, the member of the first Expert Committee of the Chinese Medicine and Agricultural Industry Branch of the World Union, the director of the China Biomedicine Integration Alliance, the vice chairman of the Aromatic Medicine Branch of the Chinese Ethnic Medicine Association, and the vice chairman of the Strategic Alliance of Technological Innovation of Gansu Provincial Hospital Preparation Industry, the director of Gansu Provincial Chemical Society, the chairman of Medicinal Chemistry of Gansu Provincial Chemical Society and the chairman of natural medicine and pharmaceutical industry economy of Gansu Provincial Pharmaceutical Society.

In recent years, with "natural medicinal chemical biology" as the main research direction, the research group has systematically carried out the lead discovery, diversity-oriented synthesis, efficacy evaluation and application development research based on traditional Chinese medicine and natural biological active functional molecules. His achievements have published more than 80 high-level SCI papers such as Med. Res. Rev., J. Med. Chem., Europ. J. Med. Chem., etc. He was invited to publish the Top journal Med. Res. Rev. on the theme of "Chinese Medicine and Medicinal Plant Resources in the West and the Belt and Road". He has written a series of thematic reviews and participated in the editing of three books as an associate editor. More than 100 national invention patents and one PCT patent have been applied, and five achievements have been transformed. Responsible for and participate in research projects: more than 30 scientific and technological projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation, the key research and development Program of Gansu Province, and the Key Program for international S&T cooperation projects of China Gansu Province, and more than 50 horizontal projects of cooperation with enterprises and joint industry-university-research projects with enterprises.

 

Research Interests 

The main research direction of the research group: natural medicinal chemical biology, its main focus: 1) Lead discovery, design, synthesis and application development of antitumor agents; 2) Lead discovery, design, synthesis and application development of antimicrobial agents.

the Second Prize of Pharmaceutical Development awarded by Gansu Pharmaceutical Society;
